A wine of contradiction, tension and balance. Opaque ruby, fully mature, w/ an expansive nose of saddle sweat, roasted game (w/ more flesh than fur), cassis & stewed cherry (La Tour Figeac meets Guado al Tasso). This wine leaps in the lap and seduces the taster with uplifting, glycerin-laden velvet tannins.
