Enjoyed at a winery sponsored tasting. As others have noted this is very good. Earthy, bigger ted fruits, nuanced, and structured. Good intensity, nice balance, emerging complexity and a long finish.

A Taste of Eila Wines : Sourced from Prophet Vineyard in Eola-Amity AVA (440-600’ elevation). Harvested 22 September 2021 from sections planted with Pommard and Coury clones. Fermented using 25% whole cluster. Aged with 20% new oak (Mercurey barrel). Barely translucent ruby with black cherry, red cherry, blackberry, Chinese five spice, vanilla,cacao and sandalwood aromas. Berserker Day Newbie Preview: Eila Wines : Sourced from Prophet Vineyard in Eola-Amity AVA (440-600’ elevation) from sections planted with Pommard and Coury clones. The darker toned, and more brooding one of the bunch. Tart dark red and black cherries, blackberries, iris flowers, and a good amount of oak spice on the nose with Chinese five spice, vanillin, rhubarb, a touch of leather and raw cocoa nibs.
