Giornata Il Campo Rosso

Having a Sangiovese of this quality coming out of Paso Robles (or frankly domestically) is (hopefully) a sign of great things to come. This was expressive, approachable, and somewhat reminiscent of Fontodi - blinding this in a lineup of Italian Sangiovese would be challenging. Not overtly harsh/tannic and quite fresh on the palate as well.
