Sybille Kuntz Wehlener Sonnenuhr Riesling trocken

Bright golden color. Have now tasted the wine over two successive night, and am finding it a bit challenging. Has a bit of the raisin slightly musty oily smell that I have encountered with another Riesling that had some age. That astringency carried through on the pallet, but seems to dissipate with air. Behind that there is very nice honey, maybe a slight rubber taste, and some apple (maybe golden -- not tart). As a trocken, I guess I was …
