Profound white flowers and peach nose, electrifying acidity, long, lean and mineral finish on the palate

White flowers, wet stone, lychee, rain/petrichor, and a little honey. I would have never guessed this is a Spatlese, it’s neither super ripe nor sweet. Incredible if you like intense Mosel blue slate minerality, a style that I find impossible to replicate this side of the Atlantic. Markus Molitor never fails to disappoint.

Pale straw color. Medium brilliant bright nose of citrus, flint, slate. Dry, mouth watering acidity, deep taste of lemon, pear and minerals. Medium body and finish. Good stuff.
