Some structure and dense power to it.

A well made wine, although in a more modern style. Quite fruit-forward at this young age, with some mocha oak notes on it. Well-balanced on the palate, however, with good acidity and restrained alcohol.

Pausing for the Cause Fundraiser and Dinner (Obelix - Chicago IL) : Small taste from bottle brought by the importer. Very rich and well spiced with robust fruit, still certainly oaky right now, there is a long of good stuff here but loss in the context of the older wines tasted tonight.
