Smooth and easy to drink, but similar to th 02 Cab; it was closed and required a lots of sloshing and swirling to coax out more flavor; more time in the bottle or a couple more hours in the decanter would have helped the evaluation.

A decent table wine. Better on the second day after spending the night vacuumed and in the fridge.

Aroma indicated significant complexity that wasn't there on tasting. The first night had some brett notes that weren't super pleasant. After a night in the fridge with vacuvin, and back to room temp the next day, this was much better, but still lacking the kind of complexity and interest I expect for this price range. Overall, disappointing for the $15 price.

Started out so thin. After about 3 hours in the decanter it actually started to show well, but still was a touch thin. It tried to be good but just fell short. I'm with the others, not a bottle I would buy again.

Lots of body; spicy and fairly deep. A nice wine.

Simple, boring and acidic ... even on sale for $11, it will not be a re-buy. Past vintages have been fairly decent - 2003 completely misses the mark.

Initially it seemed almost stewed with high alcohol content. Finished it three days later and it had significantly improved. I'd recommend letting it aerate for a while before drinking.

Poured at a retailer tasting. Earthy red fruit and spice notes. Deep red fruit flavors, chewy tannins, and a leathery edge to the finish.

Thin with higher acidity than I recall in previous vintages. Seems like this may have come from a cooler vintage. Much more minerally and less supple than I recall in the past.

Tasted at the BA first class lounge in Hong Kong: Deep purple in appearance this Shiraz has notes of wood and earth. I found it very acidic. It really dried out the tongue. Not very impressed.
