Fine bright ruby. Great freshness and lively acidity. plenty of blackberry and black cherry fruits. Touch of iron, bit of spice. Well resolved tannic backbone. Very clean and savoury. More N Rhone in style. Great value.

Refreshing, complex, peppery, I would have thought it from Northern Rhone. Not a trace of rubbery reduction. Wonderful value for the price. Long aftertaste.

Deep red, cassis and blackberry on the nose,complex, tarry, plenty of fruit and long. This was quite dense on opening and took a half hour to open out. It needs decanting for a half hour or more to aerate it now.
