В аромате чёрные ягоды, сливки, кожа, животинка, шоколад, черный перец, табак, чернослив. Во вкусе плотное, кислотность высокая, интенсивные танины. 91/100

Rustic nose. Olives, prunes, and tired leather. Lean with a superficial mid palate. Notes of figs, olives, and prunes. Paired with spaghetti.

I let this super Tuscan decant for approx an hour. After a quick set of tears this wine showed aromas of dark red fruits, liquorice & vanilla. On the pallet this wine was super smooth with a nice finish with very little tannins. This was a super wine that I would highly recommend & certainly buy again.

The wine looks ruby colored. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), prune, forest floor, medium toast and fur. The body is full. The wine has coarse texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

Spicy and tart nose of dried fruits, cherries and roses. Firm structure, medium body, a bit dry but good tannins, red fruit and spices, good length. Of course, it's a modern Sangiovese style, but of good quality. Now very good to drink, but still has potential.

Nice earth and dark cherry nose, but palate is disjointed and harsh. Maybe too young. Will retaste tomorrow. For a few dollars more, Felsina Berardenga Riserva is a far superior wine.

Blackberries, sweet cherries, cocoa, smoke, a flash of tar, a hint of fennel. Long and pleasant aftertaste. Gentle tannins. Should stay in good shape for another 3 years and probably longer.

Sans intérêt le jour 1 mais belle longueur, belle complexité et pas mal de fruits rouges le jour 2! Tanins assez présents, corps moyen. 3-5 ans devraient rendre ce vin plutôt intéressant! pour le prix.

Very disapointing. The Parker site have given 93+. Not sure what happened the day the wine was rated. When I dont like a wine, I am not sure how to quote it but for sure I will return all the bottles i've bought to the store.

Drank over two nights. First night pasta with meat sauce, second night a steak. Held up well against both. This is a very nice wine with good balance, especially for the price. Dark berries, chocolate, maybe a bit of black pepper. My only problem is that it is missing the "memorable" factor that makes you wanna run out and buy more.

Not quite 100% textbook sangiovese ... more internationally style - but close.

Reaffirming my last impression of this wine it’s probably still not at it’s peak, but it’s pretty well integrated. Good acid and tannins. For $17, this was a good value. It was an excellent match to our osso bucco with mushrooms.

Great Tuscan blend (Sangiovese & Merlot). It needs to breathe for a good 2 hrs. Decanting recommended.

This got better (or grew on me) as we drank it. When first opened, it seemed just fruity and unidimensional. As we kept drinking it I appreciated more of the tannins and some more earthiness.

The wine was dark garnet in colour and offered dried fruits, dried cherry, prune, spices, a hint o chocolate, mild earthy and mild roasted notes. On the palate, the wine showed dried fruit, prune, earthy notes, some chocolate and palate-dominating green and medicinal flavors, with underripe tannin and an unpleasant, green finish (ever chewed and underripe walnut?) that left a furry mouthfeel. Thin. Avoid.

Had with southwestern skirt steak and potato salad. Worked well. Nice smoky oak matched the skirt steak and spices.

Gouté en SAQ, Très ordinaire...à 25$, il y a tellement de Chianti qui en donne plus. Boisé et unidimensionnel, on passe!

Nose was a bit weak with mostly the alcohol coming through, probably needed to decant and let it breathe. Wine itself was a medium bodied, dark purple Sangiovese and Merlot blend with hints of berries, smokiness and some oak. Alcohol was a bit overwhelming throughout and finish was dry, didn't love this one, and it completely overpowered my butternut squash ravioli dinner.

Sangiovese with a bit of Merlot in there. Some dark berry and oak notes. I was hoping for a bit more but I feel this wine was really average. Good, but average.
