Two hour decant..excellent! Still has five years of peak drinking if not more.

Delicious light new world pinot noir. Somewhat overpriced at £37 per bottle. Fortunately I got it on a deal. Having said that I would certainly look forward to drinking this wine again.

Pale ruby in the glass. Needs a good hour or so decanted to give some air and to open up. Nose - strawberry, raspberry, some earthiness. Taste - light to medium-bodied, elegant, very smooth red berry: ripe strawberry, cranberry, some mushroom and subtle potting shed. This is just excellent drinking now. A treat with Boxing Day cold cuts.

Came out of the bottle very tight, but bloomed in tje glass. Over-ripe strawberry, plum and potting soil flavors. Light-bodied, there is juicy acidity on the finish with a very slight bitterness which helped it hold up to food.

Came together nicely after decanting for a couple of hours. Nicely balanced smooth red fruits with strawberries and raspberries to the fore and a back note of cranberries. A decent amount of earthiness to it as well. All very enjoyable.

Medium- dark ruby. Medium intense nose of ripe dark cherries, raspberries, some strawberries, some earthy horse stable, blackberries, some hibiscus, some thyme and pomegranate. Palate similar. Fresh acidity, all the while it also has plenty of ripe fruit. Some black pepper in there also. Medium body, medium acidity and light tannins.

Can you spell Rhubarb? Tastes like purchased fruit grown to sell for weight, over extracted to get more out of it, no finesse, lacked dept and acidic structure, hard to tell it was Pinot, really disappointing.

Wow - what a difference a few days makes. Wrote the tasting note below a few days ago but this is much better today. A lot of the astringency has gone and it’s now much more rounded and pleasant. Given there was a spot of wine on the Coravin hole, I wonder if this was able to open up a bit with exposure to air. Much closer to the last bottle experience. Pretty good. Pale ruby. Nose of strawberries, raspberries, with forest floor/mushroom tones. Palate - full mouth, medium-bodied, smooth strawberry-raspberry-loganberry flavours, some clove. Decent bright acidity, good length. Enjoyable, and improved further with air.

I really enjoyed this. Blind tasting session and initial guess was an aged PN from Central Otago. Really great and enjoyable younger PN from the states. Pale ruby driven with plenty of red fruit, strawberry & sour cherries notes. Lovely medium bodied and rounded finish with hint of cloves or aniseed. Definitely better after 1.5 hours in the glass but was not able to sample more

Medium light ruby. Cola, sassafras, petrol, slight rubber. Bright acidity, medium- body, fine tannin. The palate is more cherry, cola, and pepper than earth/petrol. Nice drinker vs. a stunner.

Translucent ruby color. Cherry syrup on the nose along with a bit of funk and something herbal, perhaps rosemary. Medium-to-medium-light body with medium acid, and little perceptible tannins. Tart cherry fruit, cranberries, and a hint of earthiness on the palate. Great for a sub $20 wine.

Light ruby color. Relatively transparent. Slight VA on the nose on opening but it dissipated quickly. Nose is subtle - red fruit, some iodine, earthiness and light floral notes. On the palate there is quite high acidity up front, more earthiness and red fruit, in particular cranberries. There is some sweet caramel and leather to accompany the fruit. Tannins are low, soft and well-integrated. The finish is long and luscious. Overall, this is a well-balanced and somewhat elegant, medium-bodied wine. …

Nose was just barely on the “sulphurous” side of reduced, but not so much that it ruined the wine. In fact everything else about the wine was perfectly balanced. Would be an incredible QPR if it weren’t for the rotten eggs. As it stands, still could do much worse.

Fersk, gjennomsiktig rød på den mørkere siden. Lett pinotparfyme, jordbær og bringebær, snev av granateple. Lite krydder å spore. Litt skarp og alkoholisk på nesen. Noe grønt? Ålreit munnfølelse, men drikk lettere avkjølt for å unngå alkoholstikk. Mye syre, frukten matcher ikke helt og dermed ikke helt i balanse. Men igjen: lettere avkjølt passer det bedre. Middelsminus fylde. Litt kort. Frukten er litt rustik og tydelig på den mørkere siden. Tja, greit men ikke overbevist ift pris.

Man, really good PInot for $25 and has its own thing going on at the same time. Fresh acid, fruit and earth, dry and only med body for CA. Loads of complexity on the palate w/ floral, sweet spice, dark stoniness.
