Finely-etched notes of fermented wheat straw, light tobacco wrapper, petroleum oil, veal broth, sweet almond,and orange peel in an energetic, slightly rough upper register. Medium-light bodied with savory broth notes and tobacco smoke, with a rather neutral but very persistent finish. A good introduction to Irish malt and a good value for money. …
