Living in Canada where we boycott Chardonnays from a well known region, I was longing the buttery tastes of the wines from "that" country. A great choice.

Apple, toast, citrus, and a bit of banana on the nose. Medium-bodied with good flavours and length; finishes with a kiss of spearmint. 4/5

Elegant and ripe. this has a lovely, medium-high intensity nose of buttery, pear, apple, and gentle sweet oak spice aromas, all of which come through nicely in a slightly spicy profile on the medium+ weighted palate. Lemon citrus, white floral, and touches of flinty minerality adds further complexity and interest on the flavour profile. It's nicely textured with clean acidity, Excellent length on the clean, fresh finish.

Fermented and aged in French oak barrels (under 10% new oak) and full MLC in barrel. Colour is medium lemon. Nose is medium minus intense with aromas of fresh white peaches, white flowers, wet pebbles, fresh cut grass, light vanilla and creaminess in the background. The palate is medium intensity, medium+ body, surprisingly oily mouthfeel and nicely integrated …
