Solid refd wine. Spicy, peppery taste. Dry, some tannin. Good for several more years. Not a fruit-forward example.

Wonderful, rich Zinfandel. Peppery in the mold of classic Zin. Fruit underneath softening and smoothing out the taste. Good tannin and some leather. An excellent wine for now and for years to come.

ZAP Simply Summer Celebration, entry level Zinfandel that shows promise, nose of dark fruit and sage, same on the palate, tasty, touch simple, should improve in a year or so, small amount of harsh tannins, medium/long finish.
