Tasteful, a bit fat, apples, citrus and tropical fruits like peach and some pineapple. Medium to full bodied and a long finish. For a wine with 15 months of oak the fruits are remarkably fresh.

Italy 2008 (Italy) : WIML90 Tasted at the winery. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of anise, honeysuckle, yellow flowers and a bit of talc. Flavors of yellow apples, pears and spice. Medium to bright acidity, medium body. Drink over the medium term. Aged 15 months in oak.
