Delicious and balanced, with blackberries, spice, oak, and overall good structure.

Outstanding Syrah that still has a lot going on with it. Dark red fruit with a minerality streak to it that makes it a great food wine.Could go a few more years as it improved through the night.

a year later and still sensational have a few left but not smart enough to know the wine's life, but it is big bold and not running out time. still at its peak in my view

An Excellent Paso Syrah. Deep red fruit with some spice and a long finish. Should be drinking great over the next few years.

Popped and poured at restaurant. The flavor was really good. The texture was good not elegant, with a medium finish. $98 at a restaurant. For restaurant price it was a win.

What a beauty! So big, yet smooth and well knit. I could drink this one every day. 5/11/24 Clearly an off-bottle... austere, very little flavor despite 90 minutes in decanter. Too bad.

Love this winery, and this vineyard, but I can’t hand out the high score just yet. PnP, and then tasted over two hours. Good, potentially great, but ultimately too big and disjointed for what I know it can be. If you do drink it, please decant for several hours. But, I would wait at least a few years.

Always an amazing Syrah. Bit of funk to start off, settled down as evening along. Dark purple, juicy, ripe and rich dark fruits, smoked meats, firewood, vanilla and cigar. Medium + acidity, ripe tannins on a Lasting finish! Booker always delivers!

Love how this Syrah is so vibrant on the nose. Plum and dark cherry with a strong finish. Eric Jensen loves to make “yummy” wines and this Syrah is a great example of his work.

Big, beautiful Syrah that's still completely in balance, a study of power meeting grace. Dark plum and cherry, lots of spice, integrated oak, long finish. Decanted.

Loads of smoky aromas, bacon fat, toasted cedar, warmed plums and dark cherries on the nose. Palate adds fresh violets, sautéed herbs and toasted vanilla. Medium plus bodied, soft ripe tannins. Great wine.

Oh such a gorgeous wine. Dark purple, opaque, mesmerizing notes of smoked meats, burnt embers, green olive juice, blue and back fruits, and toasted vanilla. Silky and floral palate, well-structured, ripe tannins and long finish.

Sumptuous notes of smoked meats, charred firewood, roasted dark fruits with hints of vanilla. Palate is medium To full-bodied, rich in dark plums and dark cherries, crushed wild flowers and some briny green olives. Soft tannins, great finish. Enjoying today with mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers on a rainy day.

What an outstanding wine! Mesmerizing aromas jumping to my senses that seem to offer new traits every 30 minutes. A combination of blueberry compote, wild flowers, truffle oil, smoked cedar wood, sweet tobacco and fresh farm berries. Silky smooth on palate, adding a mixture of blue and back fruits and little bit of forest floor. Soft ripe tannins, medium acidity paving the way to a fantastic long finish. I see why this has been a 94-98 point wine. Cheers all …

This was good, but taking price point into account, as well as my memory of tasting at Booker, I was hoping for more and think this might be in a hold period. Similar to another previous comment from similar timing. I opened the night prior, quick decant and then back into the bottle and wine fridge, with the cork wrapped in plastic wrap. It sat open for a few hours prior to drinking, so maybe I over did it there. …

I opened the wine and poured it in a decanter. I tested the nose and came up empty, so I poured some into a glass to see if anything happened. Nothing, so I sampled it on the palate, same experience. It was like the wine was in a coma. Two and a half hours later I detected hints of red fruit and smoked meats, but I really had to swirl the glass to coax any appreciable aromas. This wine never …

Rich, intense, dark fruit. Velvety. Very approachable now, but clearly has a lot of potential for aging in the cellar.

Lacking a sophisticated finish due to youth and immaturity. Way too young to have drank this. Hold for another 3-5 years. Potential 94+ with additional time in bottle.
