Dark black fruit, tar, uplifted acidity, spice, black licorice, eucalyptus, fresh mint leaves, and a very long finish. Very floral and licoricey on the nose. Rustic and gorgeous tannins. I think this wine could easily go another 8 or 10 years.

From memory. As usual, dark berry flavors uplifted by nice acids. Really floral in the nose and mouth. A really unique wine. Need to get some extra bottles of 2012-2014 vintages and hold on to them for a bit to see what happens.
