Pertaringa Grüner Veltliner

A little too old but perked up after opening and warming a little. Yellowed and dull, faint lime still lingers. Still drinkable but past its best. The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like lime.

Definitely needed drinking but a nice wine

Starting to flatten out, but still retains its floral characters with a restrained lemon palate. Acidity is in check and a little sparkle has developed. Not too sure if this wine is heading to a better place or not but I'm still in for the journey.

Floral bouquet, lots of lime and lemon on the palate with a fine structure. Having no experience in this varietal, but apparently you can cellar the good ones. Might see how far I can push this...

An interesting wine. Highly perfumed floral tones on the nose. Reminded me of boiled lollies and musk sticks. The taste is somewhat different from the nose. Very light lemon to lime on the palate a light wine with a clean finish. Reminds me somewhat of the lighter style of French whites. I can't taste any apple with this one still its a very pleasant drop showing varietal climate and soil differences. A high quality offering from the Geoff Hardy range. …
