Soos Creek Cabernet Sauvignon Terrible Beauty

I always enjoy this cuvee from Soos Creek, and this bottle was no exception. I had it alongside 2 other 2017s from Soos, the Ciel du Cheval and the Artist Series. For me this is slightly behind the Ciel du Cheval, but not by much.

Soos Creek continues to deliver outstanding quality with their Terrible Beauty bottling. Washington Cabernet Sauvignon and Washington wines in general are very suitable to my palate, and this is no exception. Drinking great now with 3 to 5 years of enjoyment ahead.

Very enjoyable. I always seem to like Soos Creek's Terrible Beauty wine. I shared this with my wine group at an Indian restaurant and it went very well with the Lamb Curry. Although as the last wine of the night, we were almost finished with the food and we drank most of this bottle on its own, without food. Soos Creek always seems to punch about their weight class.

Shared this with a few friends at a Turkish restaurant. It was enjoyed by everyone.

My first Terrible Beauty since the 2014 vintage and this was just as good as the 2014. Very enjoyable and a home run for the price.
