I've tasted this wine at leaste 10 times since it's release and my feeling is it's aging well. That being said I'd still only hold one bottle longer than another year. Lot's of burgundian butterscotch and smoky aromas with pear and tropical fruit on the palette. The 2002 is probably better, but I like the 2001 a lot.
