Suave and well balanced, if a bit one-dimensional. Interestingly, it's still pretty fruity for a wine of it's age, and has the structure to age more yet. It will likely drink pleasantly for some years to come, but is not likely ever to be very interesting or impressive.

Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 4 hours. A little tight and acidic out of the gate; much better between hour 2 and 3. Nose concentration is more reserved than I remember, but what’s there is nice; raspberry & black cherry cola, distant dust & mineral elements. Just isn’t keeping the weight on as I originally predicted, and is starting to thin out. Drink now.

Decanted 2 hours, and consumed over 5 hours. Peek window was between hrs 2 -3 when it showed at its best with a raspberry/dusyt expression. A little tight before that window, and a little mediocre after. Not quite the intensity as a year ago, but still has the ripe, rich fruit foundation that makes it a very good value at $20.

A really nice, yummy, light to medium pinot noir. Exceptional for a $20 Oregon PN. I wish we had bought more because it will be difficult to find with only 175 cases made.. I found it to be balanced, good fruit, enough tannins to give it some depth, raspberry and a little bit of darker fruit.

This was a very tasty drinker with bright red fruits and minimal complexity.

Dusty berries on the nose, promising. Lilts in the mouth. I mean, vanishes away. Gertrude Stein, "There's no there, there". Peach is the only distinct flavor I get, odd for a pinot. No thanks.

Dark colored. Nose has some heat on it, also some cooked cherries. Taste is decent but felt it was from a hotter climate. Maybe too extracted. Not bad, don't get me wrong, but nothing exciting either just a decent tuesday quaffer. I wouldnt buy again because i want a bit more terroir in a pinot and this borders on generic.

It's an okay, goes down easy quaffer. It didn't give me amnesia, but it didn't give me something memorable to hold on to either. Would think the Momtazi vineyard fruit or Mystic fruit would enhance its personality.

Part of a 25-flight, Willamette Valley Oregon, '08 Pinot throwdown; which included Mid-range price-points, between $20-$50. Out of the 25, I gave this one top honors in the value category. For me, this is a top-5, under $20 WV Pinot for this vintage; and will kick sand in the face of many $40+ PN’s from the same area. Light bodied in the traditional burgundy style, but a double-barrel shotgun to the nose. Fine, dusty earth is prominent with a raspberry …

Decant and then read the story of Persephone - Queen of the Underworld. This will add some complexity to the wine that does have excellent "balance". A pleasant wine with cheese and crackers that held it own with the meal.
