Fresh and sufficiently dry albeit a tad chalky. The fruit was predominantly blackcurrant but not cassis and with an edge of herbaceousness. A decent entry level Margaret River Cab and good value

Appearance: Clear, medium ruby. Nose: Clean, medium+ intensity with developing aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, violet, and Asian spice. Palate: Dry, medium+ acid, medium tannin is youthful and grippy, medium body, medium+ intensity, 14.0% abv with developing flavors of black cherry, plum, and spice with hints of capsicum and a medium+ finish. A wonderful entry level Margarat River cabernet.
