Elizabeth Spencer Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast

Another really good bottle of this pinot. Drank over three days and got better each day as it continued to integrate with time. Some spice and dark fruited pinot. Most struck by the complexity. Modest finish.

Drinking very well right now. It is a soft, subtle wine with completely integrated tannins and just a touch of acidity left. Dark cherry fruit in a very silky package. Some complexity but doubt it will get better. Finish a bit short but pleasant. Drink up.

Drank after the Masters Tournament and was looking for a nice wine. This wine is drinking fantastic right now and was complex and with a hint of red fruit, minerality and spiciness. Only lacking depth on the finish. Well made wine from this Napa Valley boutique. Fabulous! Peak now but probably fine for a couple more years.

Very much enjoyed this Pinot. Subtle on the nose without any noticble fruit which was consistent on the taste as well. Woodsy, earthy on the palate with a medium finish that was dusty/mineral but very pleasant. Still drinking well now but I think it may be on its way out. You should probably drink this up in 2014.

More Burgundian . Very earthy nose, dry.nice smooth finish, good balance

Awesome Pinot. Excellent on all fronts especially balance, body and lovely long finish.

Very pretty earthy nose. On the palate, very fruity blackberry fruit, varied spices, but with a vegetal note that's kind of bitter on the finish. Mouthcoating. The pepper crusted salmon really brought out a pleasant peppery flavor among the spices. Mouthwatering acidity. A little fuller bodied than seems typical for pinot. My wife thought the richness reminded her of Syrah.

The wine pours a medium plus intensity of deep ruby with a touch of purple. A developed wine that could age a few more years. It has a pronounced palette of black cherry, cloves, and some little fresh vegetal, mushrooms. On the palette, wonderfully balanced, smooth, medium tannins and acidity; so well integrated. It has a medium plus body, extremely concentrated black fruit, layers of spice, cinnamon and cloves, so lush and smooth. A long finish and an outstanding wine. …

i really enjoy this! Earthy, black fruit nose...a nice Pinot.

Raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb and cinnamon. Nice finish. It's B+

Spicy, earthy, but not robust. A bit too highly priced when compared to other Pinot Noir from the Russian River.
