A little disappointing and underwhelming. Some nice aromatics, with leathery and spicy nose (noticeably clove), but lacking complexity in flavor. Fruit flavors are relatively flat, and there's little in the way of herbal or earthy notes to add texture. There are no flaws and it's an entirely acceptable wine, but there's nothing remarkable about it.

Loved it and drinking very well right now, dark fruit with some leather and earthy notes. Smooth and balanced with soft tannins and nice yummy finish.
