Still has a youthful, ruby red colour, not hint of browning at all. Aroma is intense, immediate hit of very classy oak, at once sweet with vanilla and savoury with smoke and spice. The nose is rich with juicy plum, heady spices (nutmeg) and a dark animal / cured meat complexity. Also hints of cedarwood.
