PnD 2/3 of the bottle. Let air for 1hr. Consistent with previous notes. Nicely fleshed out but still fresh. Very herbal on the nose with peppermint fennel beet tops and cola over cherry compote. Mineral sanguine on the palate with cherry raspberry and rhubarb. Ripe mountaineous and delicious. Drank too many of theses too soon.

By the glass at Vij's. deep garnet purple with crimson rim. Earth tar cassis touch of cherry strawberry and forest floor on the nose. Medium(-) weight with soft slightly steamy tannins. Well balanced and integrated fruit herbal and earthy flavours. An elegant Italian can.
