Popped and poured Single piece cork no seepage Smokey oak, some faint cherry lurking underneath. Palate is very modern. The oak sauce is at the fore, heavy handed. I really can’t make out much from the fruit. It could be gamay, pinot noir or jaen and i wouldn’t be the wiser. Its light and the smokey finish is omnipresent. Not my style. Drink or hold, this is still very primary. Upside is not guaranteed. 14% abv
