Pleasant peppery nose in the chateau neuf style it's aspiring to. Violets and dark fruit, cassis. First taste was sweet red fruit and a bit of smoke but disappointingly thin. Ten minutes saw some tannins and a bit more structure but this remained a light bodied wine with tannins in the front but not much in the middle.
