Still drinking satisfactorily. However, disappointed by the lack of any great character or even just plain character. It was not faulted in any way. The colour, nose and palate lacked anything worth writing home about so maybe I shouldn’t post this!

Dense & dark. Fig, prune/raisin, blackberries, black, cherry, some vanilla and baking spice. rich soil & wet rocks. A touch of smoke, Cedar and Sweet pipe tobacco. Lil reduction. Some grippy tannins upon open, well integrated after a 30 minute decant. Leather, medium finish medium -,acid but not flabby. Still great.

Deep ruby color. The nose has medium+ intensity with cherry and black fruit aromas and a very spicy character (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, peppercorn), earthy aromas, forest floor, mushroom, and some nutty notes. On the palate, high acidity, high tannins (fine, chewy), and high alcohol. Medium intensity, full body, with pronounced oak flavors at first that give way to spicy and fruity notes in a finish of medium length.

90% Corvina with 10% Oseleta. Youthful but beginning to drink well. Needs food right now.

Plush and berryish on first opening this evolved with air, tightening and showing fine-grained tannins. Really good.

Grapes are Corvina and Oseleta. Medium plus nose is funky, barnyard, dark fruits, turned earth, forest floor. Palate is punchy, dry, fruit driven with a dark style. Lots of flavor for the price.

Full bodied, soft, plush - plenty of oak here, drank like a modern Cali Cab. Not a problem by me.

Nice well balanced corvina with currant, fig, raisin over a bit of smoke and polished tannins. Decanted for 1 hour.

Rather more refined than I would have thought. With some savory notes to the front and back of the palate. Don't want to say stem but it seems like a little stem is there.

Toasted orange peel and damp earth on the nose, along with some violets. Nice acidity and tannins on the palate, with toasted oak and subtle fruit. Pairs really nicely with a juicy steak. Needs the food to really shine. This will keep at least 3-4 years, and may improve with more time.

Beautiful, velvety red in the glass...this one is pretty! Intense, elegant, long...what a combo. The attack is bold with hints of prune, plum & smoky bacon. There is also a fine herbal complexity in the secondary. On the palate, it is intense with herbal scented prune and plum followed by savoury notes.
