Weekly tasting group RWP #355: Some random wines (@ DJ) : Dark berries and sweet herbs and spices in the bouquet. On the palate elegant red and dark berries, very ripe fruits and also good acidity. Elegant wine.

“Mixed Bag of Wines from around the World”-Tasting, Flight 2, Wine 3 (non-blind), in January 2014. The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered cherry, blackberry, raspberry, thyme, black pepper and a hint of rubber on the nose. On the palate the wine showed cherry, blackberry, raspberry and some coffee, paired with medium-plus prominent acidity, medium-level ripe, well-integrated tannin and good length.
