PNP into Kimura Cava glass (“Root” day): Medium orange golden to the eyes with fine deposits. Fine petillance but not aggressive at all. Luxurious apricot fruits. Good amount of florals. Rich honeyed notes too. Perfect acidity and residual sugar balance here at a mere 5% alcohol. Noble and highly finessed liquid here. I just can’t help to keep pouring this. 94-95 points.

PNP into italesse glass (“No” day): Medium golden to the eyes with some very fine deposits. Florals, pears and very good apples here. Superbly balanced with its sweetness and texture. This is quite the crowd favorite here. 93-94 points.

These Swiss ciders are just something else. This one is perhaps one of the 'simpler' ones, but more complete than almost any other normal cider you'll find on the market. Remarkably complex and appetizing, and extremely food friendly. Great QPR at $22 from Gapes the Wine Co.
