Made with 74% Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% Merlot, and 3% Malbec this Cabernet blend spends 21 months in French oak, which certainly explains the toasty characters. The nose shows blackberry, liquorice and anise. The palate is full bodied and rich with a certain warmness. It shows candied dried fruit, ground black pepper and intense spice. Great mouth feel, nice finish. 90 points.
