This is an excellent wine from Anaba. They excel at this style: well-balanced fruits against a full flavor profile that makes for a sturdy yet still elegant wine with lots of character.

Tabacco and black pepper dominate the nose with some currant and blackberry. Thick and inky purple. Dried strawberries blend to green and black pepper. Tannins linger. Had with steak and foie gras and stood up well with appetizers and beginning of meal.
