Took time to develop the right fruit notes, but bright cherry and tart raspberry shine through after a bit of time. It's a really nice pinot with good barnyard notes of a more French style pinot as well.

Agree with the prior reviewer. This is not over-the-hill. That said, I don't know that it's gonna get much better. Nice now. Maybe time to drink up.

Was concerned this wine would have been over the hill. Not an issue here, though it was excellent. Fruit, terroir, spine.Tastes very good. Had another Eric kent 2009 as well that shared all of these qualities?

No detailed notes. Liked this one perhaps a touch better than the Sacsha (sp) also opened this evening. Both good, both throttling toward heavy but achieving a worthy balance.

Holy Baking Spices, Batman. This is one spicy, clove- and allspice-inflected Pinot Noir. There is sour cherry underneath, and the spices persist in the finish. Not really my favorite style, but well made and assured.

Nice red and dark fruit aromatics with some spice and floral notes. Flavor of sour cherry pits and black raspberry Jolly Rancher candy. A bit restrained at first but blossoms with black cherry, red berries and some underlying earth. Nicely structured and enduring finish. A hint of herbs and the consistent pure fruit and targeted acidity carry this throughout.

More eased into itself and lively than I remember it being. With more fruit, spice, and all-round more depth and character. Lots of acid on the back. Ok at $50, wish it was $40.
