Great depth of toast, oak, and dried dark fruits. While this is a great QPR with really surprising complexity, I would have liked to have gotten some more bright fruit flavors out of this to balance out the more earthy flavors. At least that was my first impression...After about 40 mintues, the fruits came out with blackberries and a bit of prune. the alcohol stood out a little more at this point, but the flavors are layered and stuctured, and …

Intense ruby red in color the wine has hints of dark fruit, offset by dry oak finish. Much lighter as compared to other wines I have tasted from the Ribera del Duero region.
