Domaine de la Couperie Vin de Pays Nantais

- Ruby color with fast forming legs and aromas of strawberry. It's somewhat balanced with a light/medium body. Juicy texture with a short finish - Finishing the case, drank consistently throughout. Uncomplicated but great QPR.

I really enjoyed this wine in the 2010. The next vintage is somewhat rounder than I recall, with a bit less mineral flavor. Cherries and strawberries predominate. However, for what it is -- a fruit juice uncomplicated but super easy to drink/delicious every day pinot -- just great. $1 more than last year...
