Le Clos d'un Jour Cahors

Mature wine with markedly less tannins and acidity but still with preserved complexity. Nice now but better a year ago.

Very intense on the nose with ripe, warm blackberries, herbs and licorice. Rounded tannins and less acidity now. Round and balanced in the mouth. Balanced with lots of fruit without being jam, with some herbs and a hint of black olives. Very nice right now. Will probably drink most of the bottles in the near future. Perfect with a steak, roasted tomatoes, sauce bearnaise, sweet potato fries and green kale with garlic.

Deep purple, opaque. Delicious black fruity nose. Fruity, liquorice notes, a sense of herbs, well balanced, complex, long, delectable.

Opaque, youthful. Black fruit on the nose. Fruity, obvious tannins, plenty of acidity, warming, good length.

Svartlila färg. Extremt tätt. Doftar svarta vinbär och mörk frukt, kaffe, örter, tobak och ceder. I munnen väldigt fylligt och fruktigt med svarta vinbär, mörk frukt, fat och kryddighet. Lite tight med liten omogen beska. Frisk syra och ordentligt med tanniner. Ett muskelvin. Lite nya världen cab över det. Fruktigt dock inte syltigt. Fin struktur. Behöver lite mer tid för att öppna upp och mjukna lite. Gott. 88+
