What a treat to try this older Riesling from Brooks... Color was pale-medium gold, slightly oily visual texture. Aromas start with a noticeable petrol note, but quickly gives way to wet slate, citrus zest and pineapple. Tons of honey on the palate, again just a hint of petrol, not as much as I honestly would have expected. Tasted sweeter than it actually was... delicious! clear petrol aroma golden colour average - a bit off ? second bottle opened a lighter, fresher with more acidity.

A very solid riesling. Good fruit flavors that linger on the finish. I like their Sweet P bottling just a little more with Chinese food because of the acid.

Clean and pure, with good cut to the green apple, pear, and fresh lime flavors. Refreshing, slightly spritzy finish that hints at wet river stones and Meyer lemon peel. Delicate, and very pretty.

Compared to the 07 which was showing more green apple fruit, this is showing more yellow apple side with a softer edge. Just like the 07 though this shows great acidity and intensity. Medium-long finish. Very good overall.

Over time, the apple scents continue to be enjoyable. On the palate, the apples are more yellow than green, but they deliver in full. A spritz of lime shows on the mid palate. As it evolves, the acidity dries long and slow. The apple peels show more …
