Purchased and served at the request of our dinner guests although it is not a wine that we would normally purchase. From magnum, PnP, chilled. Not much to say because there was not much to note as we drank this light bodied wine. Maybe some white fruit, melon, pear and citrus with some acidity.

Light and fruity. Green apple, pear, starfruit, maybe some hints of vanilla on the nose. Smooth and relaxing on the palate. Pineapple, pear, slight green apple as well. Good cheap wine.

Relatively green (unripe) pear on the nose. Citrus, tart apple and honeydew melon on the palate. A little better than expected. It was best at first, fresh out of the fridge, well chilled and in a chilled glass. When it got warmer, imperfections began to emerge. From vineyards near the northern Italian foothills of the Alps. Drink by 2016.

Bottle @ home. Pours a clear, very light yellow appearance. Aroma has notes of green apple, light flowers, pear, and a bit of candy. Lightly acidic flavor. Again, a fair amount of green apple in the mouth. Not too complex with not overwhelming acidity. Light to medium bodied. Pretty refreshing. Ok.

Used this primarily for cooking purposes. Had a glass with the meal (chicken in a lemon and caper sauce over penne) and found it to be drinkable, barely. Overly sweet, with a bitter aftertaste and an unpleasant acidic briskness that's not varietally correct for PG.
