This is Urziger Wurzgarten Auslese. App: clear medium gold. Nose: medium plus intensity; aromas of dry fig, lemon tart, toast, canned pineapple, kumquat, fresh ginger, marmalade, brioche. It’s developing. Palate: of sweet, high acidity, low alcohol, medium body, medium plus flavour intensity, apricot, honey, pineapple. The finish is medium plus. Absolutely love the sharp acidity that balances the fruit and tertiary notes really well! Well matured German riesling.
