Consumed as PnP, so unfortunately I didn't get to try it with a longer decant. Since 4 years ago the nose has developed excellently with the deep, Burgundian dried rose perfume and wet underbrush. Initially quite simple with bright, primary fruit flavours of strawberry, raspberry, red and black cherry. After a couple of hours of decanting it literally transforms into an outstanding Burgundy! Advice: Decant, decant, decant! After breathing it gains grip, intensity, complexity. The oak gets noticable in an unobtrussive way, beautiful little hints of woodsmoke, clove spice and toast.
