"Smell of rotten wood (no it’s not corked) burnt rubber and alcohol. Let it sit in the glass for +15 min and it kinda goes away in favor for cherries, a little orange peel and vanilla. But it’s not giving away much on the nose. The taste is flat and boring and with a lot of burning alcohol. The finish is very short and the only thing lingering on my palate is burnt sugar and alcohol."

Medium red color. Simple nose with some cherries, cinnamon, and alcohol. Lush, sweet smooth palate with low acidity and very low tannin. Finishes short with some heat. A pleasant Ruby Port that was great in a sauce of fig, shallot, and butter served over roast pork loin.
