Beautiful dark ruby color. Tobacco, cassis on the nose. Blackberry, dark plum, blueberry, black olive and a hint of oak on the palate. Fine, nicely integrated tannins. Full bodied with a bit of sweetness on the finish.

Not decanted. Deep ruby color in the glass. Pleasant aromas of tobacco, mocha, raspberry and black currant. The palate brings fresh blackberry, plum and black olive. Tannins are medium-high and fully integrated. Acidity is medium. Finishes at medium-plus length. Overall, well balanced and showing very nicely now. Can age for at least a few more years, but why wait?

Medium-firm tannins. Medium full bodied. Lots of black fruit and great structure. Hint of leather and graphite. Can go longer but great now.

Not in a good phase, really close even after 2 hours of decant and even the day after. You can feel the powerful cab but was better few years ago. Maybe will improve over time

We had this with a spicy tomato soup! Probably not a perferct match, but who cares with a wine this good. Dark ruby colour, eucalypsus, cedar and cherry on the nost. Firm tannins and wellrounded taste - dark berries. Long aftertaste. A great wine

A bit quite, even after an hour in the glass. Nice foundation, but definitely needs a lot of air to wake it up.

Deep indigo color. Raspberry, blackberry, plum, eucalyptus and oak on the palate. This had a slightly medicinal taste until about the 2 hour mark when that and the oakiness diminished somewhat. Still plenty of structure with nice moderate tannins and a medium finish.

Dark, opaque indigo in color. Berry, mint and a slightly medicinal aroma. Black raspberry, blueberry, boysenberry, eucalyptus and an abundance of oak on the palate. Dark, robust and brooding. Full bodied with a long, lingering finish. A bit too much oaky vanilla for me but very good none the less.

Drinking nicely with some air. Bright red fruit and telltale dust on the finish. Quite good now. Drink through 2022.

This is a really good wine, specially for the first bottling of a blend between Bosche and Sycamore. Dark garnet with a ruby rim on the a glass. The nose was nice on day but it really showed well on day 2. It was full of currants, black cherry, black berry, spices, hints of leather and oak. Very ripe and smooth on the attack but it quickly transitions to the mid palate with deep layered flavors of raspberry, black cherry, …

Disappointed in this wine. Expected much more for a Rutherford Cab. Just starting to open up after decanting for 4+ hours when dinner and the bottle was practically gone.

Not decanted. Dark ruby color in the glass with a ruby rim. Aromas of charcoal, black cherry, and ripe fig. The palate brings more intense black cherry, blackberry, crushed rock and baking spices. Acidity is medium, and tannins are medium-high but well-tamed. Finishes long and fresh. Overall, well balanced and drinking nicely now in a modern style, but also capable of aging for at least a few more years.

California Blind Reds - Mostly Cabs : A juicy purple/deep ruby color. Sweeter aromatics, like brown sugar and candied pecans on top of blackberries, dark currants and juicy dark plums, notes of pencil lead, dried violets and mocha add complexity. Full and plush on the palate, the tannins are firm but velvety, medium-low acid. Juicy blackberry, dark currant and plum fruit, very forward and rich. The fruit is tossed with lots of candied nuts, cedar planks, sweet earth, sweet vanilla …
