Dense and rich Syrah and Grenache blend drinking very well. Peppery Syrah up front, blackberries, plum, nice finish. Good QPR. Bought a case and looking forward to 11 more. Would pair with grilled meats, BBQ.

Medium purple in color. Medium plus alcohol. Medium plus acidity. Medium plus body. The nose is ripe plums, dried cherries, vanilla, and a hint of leather. The palate is blackberries, figs mushrooms, and sweaty leather (in a good way). Overall the tannins are soft, but the acid is a lithe too prominent. Could use a longer decant - I hour plus, and make another year of aging.

Well balanced for a California red. Spice and red fruit, medium tannins. Not over-oaked/overly fruited like most Cali wines. Would buy again.
