I did chill it a bit and it came across as quite rough and tannic. Was better when it warmed up a bit. Reasonable amount of sediment for a 4 year old Beaujolais

Good quaffable Beaujolais. Not too much to get excited about but no bubblegum, so I'm happy

Second bottle much better. Still not great but a reasonable beaujolais to drink now.

As recent bottle, nothing special.

This is quite good. Cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, soft and velvety. Fruity without being too candified. Also some substance and grip here - there are some light tannins that add a nice bite to it and makes it seem less frivolous. I think there may even have been a hint of a very light, fresh anise, like fennel. Could this have been lightly oaked? I could be mistaken. Quite fresh too: tried it with raspberry sorbet and it held up …

55degree, P&P. Medium purple. Nose of cherry and red fruit. Good acidity and light tannins give simple shape to the fruit and mineral. Moderate finish. Nice on a warm summer evening. Could get more, really tasty for reasonable tariff.

Disappointingly ordinary; expected much more from a Brouilly in such a great year. Basic problem is lack of fruit to balance surprisingly high level of tannin. Avoid.
