This wine has mature nicely since the first time I tasted it at the winery in Feb 2012. Firm tannins, plum, elegant smooth finish. Perfect match to a rack of lamb served with a sun-dried tomato risotto. Looking forward to taste my next bottle in 6 months.

Toasty nose of sweet oak, espresso and bitter chocolate with dark, black fruits. Smooth tannins and sweet oak on the palate up front. Well structured with rich, dark fruit . Nice acid and tannin balance. Strong toast on the finish and one of cocoa. - Tasted at winery Feb 2011

Deep color, dark red, bright, but opaque. Dark fruits, cocoa, peppery oak on the nose. Nice round wine, soft, dark cherry, cocoa, spice, fresh dark fruits, nice acid on the mid-palate, lingering finish. Well done blend, perhaps more typical of Washington state blends than Sonoma, and I enjoyed it a lot.
