Domaine de Chevillard Roussette de Savoie

Medium yellow. Floral and slightly honeyed on the nose. Medium to full bodied with a killer succulent, harmonious mouth feel reminiscent of Loire Chenin Blanc. Flavors of pear and apple, adequate acidity, late arriving dusty earth. Pretty fascinating and very enjoyable.

Superbe roussette, bien équilibrée entre maturité du fruit, concentration et fraîcheur.

Stone fruit on the nose, slightly underripe peach. Tension, lovely texture, nice tart green-apple acidity on the palate. The texture is absolutely beautiful, tense, with a little bit of weight. Really intense, chalky minerality as you exhale. Felt like it was shooting up my nose, pretty intense at first. Very interesting wine. I think the intensity of the chalk would lead me to drink this a little bit cooler.
