Apollo's Praise Dry Rosé

I love all of their stuff, but this one isnt quite for me. In truth it should have been drank fresh, but none of the gripes I have would have gotten worse with age. Overall the nose is beautiful; strawberry gummy bears with a bit of green bell pepper. pretty interesting. On the pallete, its pretty heavy, especially for a rose, and the mouth feel is almost oily. What a delight! Has all the best traits of a cab franc, but in a much “lighter” package. Strawberry, a little bit of pepper, crisp finish and extremely refreshing minerality.

Bright pink color. Lovely depth of flavor, balanced acidity, with a lightly creamy finish.

Opened my first bottle from AP. Strawberries and herbs on the nose. Strawberry rhubarb jam and some green herbs with a wonderful tartness on the finish.

This is an excellent dry Rosé. Textured and tastefully thought-provoking and aromatic. Aromas of roasted strawberry, slight vegetal note, gummy candy. Palate is similar, strawberry compote up front, finishing with a sweet perception while still maintaining a balancing acidity. Simply delicious

Clean. Pyrazine-y, Sauv Blanc-ish nose. Perceivable RS on the palate. Not my style but not flawed.
