Red/purple at the rim, tending to black at the core - no SA smokey nose. Full bodied, fresh and juicy with cherry and plum flavours - slightly grainy mouthfeel. All elements are nicely integrated, the tannins are receding but still present - ready now, but there is no rush to drink up.

Eye: deep rich reddish purple. Nose: RSA terroir, cherries, smoke, tobacco, vanilla. Palate: rich berries, solid structure, full body, long finish. Outstanding blend.

London Wine Fair (London) : Stinky nose with some sulphur and cabbage. I am thinking flawed bottle - there was a sour taste.
