Tilth Zinfandel Cherryhouse Vineyard

On day #2, this was rocking! First day it was a quaffable, fruity, lighter bodied zin. Overnight this thing transformed into an awesome monster -- it got darker/richer, body bulked up, and the flavors like coffee and chocolate emerged. It got balanced and much more serious. For a cab lover, this bottle was all I could ask for from a zin.

Big juicy zin with lots of spice and good backbone of tannin and acidity that keeps it from being flabby. Has good brightness despite the attack of sweet fruit.
