PnP. First time tasting this wine since I tasted it on release. If you love Napa, you'll love this. Supposedly declassified George III fruit. Very modern style but done very well. Luxurious mouthfeel, overflowing with ripe, sweet fruit. Oak, dried herbs, mint on the finish. Sweet integrated tannins. In a perfect spot right now. If all Napa cabs were this good and this "cheap" (only $60!) I'd be drinking a lot more Napa cabs.

My last of 3 bottles purchased on release, pop and pour consumed over 4 hours. Nose: Medium expressiveness, blackberry, black raspberry, shoe polish, sweet tobacco, and dark flowers. Palate: Medium-full bodied, sweet dark fruit attack, good balance - still youthful - plenty of acidic backbone left, dark fruit persists nicely thru the mid-palate with spice, dark earth, and tobacco notes joining in the back-end. still a powerful and primary wine - not for the faint of heart, would describe this as a prototypical Napa cab. Went great with a grilled filet mignon and baked potato. Would not pair with anything more delicate.:)

Could rate higher but we drank it too fast. Let breath for 2-3 hours and while it probably could have evolved more a utility smelled great and tasted better. Tannins were completely softened so the pairing with NY strip was more complimentary than expected but the mouthfeel more than compensated. Please drink now

- Brick color. It's balanced with a medium/full body. Smooth texture with a long finish - Truly a treat!! All the reviews are right. It's ready to drink. I don't think it can get better, My second bottle. Glad I waited. .

Nose: Medium-plus expressiveness, blackberry, blueberry, shoe leather, shoe polish, licorice, and violets - nose gained complexity and volume on day 2 versus day 1. Cassis, pencil shavings, some menthol behind the dark fruit. Pretty big mouthfeel, tannins still there - pretty tight. Very minty. Quality wine but disjointed. There is potential but go go the other way. The min tines is really throwing me off...I want to go higher but 93 (yeah I know - in line with others but that's where it sits now...)..try again in a few years.

Man I really like these. Sweet black fruit on the nose and palate. Straight forward, almost simple if not for a hint of smoke. Velvety texture and clean finish. It has lost a bit of oomph so I will kill my last bottle soon.

So much better than the last bottle (almost three years ago). Big, dark, rich and delicious. Not for the faint of heart. It went great with my steak, but the mocha notes and lush mouthfeel made it perfect on its own after dinner.

Not much to add to my notes on 8/8/2012. This has some added weight and layers, with some sage and rosemary. This is one hell of a nice wine! Much better than the 08 and 09. Will hold remaining bottles for 2-3 yr.
